The EOSARDA Board of Directors is elected by the Council of Dancers which is made up of representatives of the clubs in the Eastern Ontario area. The Council of Dancers has two meetings per year, one in April for elections and one in October.
The business, property and affairs of EOSARDA are managed by a board of over twenty (20) Directors (the Board). The Board consists of the following:
- two representatives from the Ottawa Area Callers Association
- two representatives from the Round Dance Teachers Association
- the immediate Board Past President
- the remaining members are nominated by individual clubs, and elected as Board members at the April meeting of the Council of Dancers.
A goal of EOSARDA is to balance Board membership among area clubs, the distant areas of Eastern Ontario, and the square and round dance communities. Accordingly, Board members are appointed by Clubs in the three outlying areas of Northeastern Ontario (Pembroke), Southwestern Ontario (Belleville, Kingston, etc.) and Southeastern Ontario (Brockville, Cornwall, etc.).
All Board members are non-paid volunteers.
